Peter Green, who has died aged 73, was one of the guitar-playing greats of 1960s blues-rock as well as a gifted songwriter. Drummer Fleetwood, born in Redruth, Cornwall, on 24 June 1947, was integral to their success, and the best Mick Fleetwood. Fleetwood Mac, founded in 1967 and named after drummer Mick Fleetwood and bass player John McVie, have sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful bands in the history of music.
